After a few halts to trim, my horse started looking for work for me to do and would suddenly stop under things he figured I needed to trim! LOL he was a lot of fun :-)Trailpalnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7602045830931362686.post-62585612330170149422010-03-24T20:07:28.703-06:002010-03-24T20:07:28.703-06:00OMG, what a smart horse. They have a different intelligence than we do, but often, they're smarter than we are!! Yes, Melissa, Shadow was a quick study in everything; it didn't take him long to figure out which rocks "he" could stop at, also.

Rachel, every one of our horses has had a hugely different personality and each has been a delight in their own way - and each has had his own sense of humor. I think it is more noticeable in the wild horses because the creativity hasn't been bred out of them, in sake of color or confirmation, whatever.

R.R.- I get really upset when guests tell us how stupid horses are, or that they can't remember anything. I like to point out the new studies coming out that show horses remember sequences and shapes better than humans do, over the same period of time. I had better NOT get started on that soapbox!
Thanks, everyone.
JuanitaAllenspark Lodgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06390004633731055728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7602045830931362686.post-20721572319016209802010-03-24T16:02:04.156-06:002010-03-24T16:02:04.156-06:00You guys have the funniest horses!
