That way you can pick it up again when you're close to home and put it back on. Again.

So excited that you've gotten so far with Estes! I'm not a huge fan of arena work, being an outdoor girl, but things like bridleless riding would be easier to focus on in an arena.

Julie says that in order to go bridleless, your horse needs to be 100% obedient and let's face it, Estes is about 95% obedient. However, out on the trail, she's got more to focus on than just me. I don't know that out on the trail she'll ever be 100% obedient.
GunDivahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02965363044411500380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7602045830931362686.post-17731945261309532962012-09-15T19:41:25.127-06:002012-09-15T19:41:25.127-06:00Looks like you both had fun. I am going to take your example and make some goals with each of my horses.
TjandMark/AKA PearlandHawkeyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01477324406425990084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7602045830931362686.post-35865151729185739192012-09-15T18:55:53.523-06:002012-09-15T18:55:53.523-06:00Oh yeah- that is *totally* an Eat Shit and DIE fac...Oh yeah- that is *totally* an Eat Shit and DIE face in that one shot!

Bet I can make you a neck rope. It's a good time to set horse goals, I think.

I am so in awe of people/horses who ride bridless. That is one of my ultimate goals, but years down the line, I think. I need to get my riding and balance down first (for the bareback part of that goal).

You can do it! And I can't wait to read about it!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02168070368360018750noreply@blogger.com
